Turning this evil on its head, British artist Ben Wilson decided to convert the mess into little pieces of uncommissioned art (considered legal, since it’s only rubbish he’s defacing). Since he began dedicating his time to this art form in 2004, Wilson has painted over 10,000 pieces of chewing gum, all over the UK and Europe but mainly near his home in Muswell Hill, north London. If you find one, contribute a picture to the impressive Flickr photo gallery that’s dedicated to his work.
