Melbourne is a city with a communal spirit. Locals will often refer to Melbourne’s weather as having four seasons in a day, but if the sky is clear and the weather is warm you will find people vying for the sunniest spot in the park, on the street, or outside of cafés. This is where people share space and the community is formed. I believe that these interactions in communal spaces are pivotal to the vitality of a city and that they are what makes a city better.
