The system, which has since been extended through large parts of the city’s Old Town, consists of drop boxes connected to suction points via pipes.

Air sucks the waste from the drop boxes to large containers at speeds of up to 80 km / h. From the containers, it’s transported for further processing. Even waste separated for recycling can be transported this way if stored in colour-coded bags. And no more rubbish trucks will wake citizens or clog up the streets.
