Divided into categories such as digital convergence, work and health, the exhibition presents social, economic and cultural innovations. 80 design pieces from notable studios, companies and young talents are on display, including a high tech pacifier, a futuristic prosthesis and the award-winning Kikkoman soy sauce dispenser.

In the exhibition’s “Fabrik” (factory) section, visitors discover the various stages of product development. Among the design studies, sketches and prototypes you can find designs for high-speed train Viaggio Comfort as well as the smart ebike, whose exceptional design recently won the Red Dot Award. MAK visitors can learn more about its high-quality components and high technology standards, which guarantee dynamic, safe and enjoyable cycling.

In the section dedicated to mobility, smart gets further attention for its concept car: the forvision design study. This “holistic approach to electric mobility” combines futuristic design with developments in energy efficiency, lightweight design and temperature management. See what’s on the horizon until the 7th of October 2012 in Vienna!
