This years Summer Olympics will take place in London, but 100 years ago the Olympic Flame was lit in Stockholm. To commemorate the occasion the Fotografiska Museum in Stockholm presents Olympic moments caught on photographs from 1912 to today.

There are pictures of victory and defeat, joy and dispair, success and failure. But aside from the sporty moments the exhibition also tells stories of political and social change, gender identity and equality and various side stories of the games. So while London is bringing together the world of sports this summer, the Fotografiska lures lovers of photography to their ePic Moments exhibition and keeps the Olympic spirit alive in Stockholm.
Fotografiska Museet is located at Stadsgårdshamnen 22 / 116 45 Stockholm
The ePic Moments exhibition runs from July 8th – August 19th, open daily from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.
