Rosmarie Köckenberger started her mini-enterprise in a vintage, German bus (a BVG 1965 Doppeldecker) with only a couple things to sell but with the intention to make a colorful, mobile kiosk and a convoy of her down to earth philosophy.

Today, under the grey sky of Berlin and after a few hugs from Rosmarie, we got to enjoy the upper deck of the bus on their DIY sofa. It was one of these moments when—even if it’s a Sunday—time suddenly stops and you just enjoy a nice beer with some pastries and a couple friends while people buy the most amazing products: fashion magazines, cigarettes, eggs, candies…It really feels like a place where the community meets—and not only the hip crowd.

But she has already got another plan and, of course, another bus that used to be a party bus for a former brewery company.

Only this time, she will travel around Germany with a music festival! Open every day until 2AM. Meet her again in March 2013!
