Vintage garments and surplus materials are repurposed to create chic, limited edition collections that can rub shoulders with both the latest trends and environmentalists alike. By producing the collection locally in their New York and Los Angeles studios and selling the garments directly in their stores—at fair prices—, they avoid the endless supply chains seen in much of the fashion industry.

Reformation stands out in the blooming world of environmentally conscious vintage stores and upcycling brands due to its clean, timeless aesthetic and edgy details. Natalia Kills, with her simple yet eclectic style, tells us she’s become a bit addicted to the unique collections they release monthly.

Led by Creative Director Yael Aflalo, the team of young designers and thinkers at Reformation couple ahead-of-the-curve ethics with on-point fashion. Each limited-edition collection is manufactured over a few short weeks, allowing them to incorporate the slightest quiver or advance in trend. Everything is then sold in their own boutiques and over their online store.

The Reformation product palette includes their limited-edition collections, employing repurposed vintage garments or surplus and sustainable fabrics, a vintage line that includes one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, hand-selected from vintage shops across the US. They additionally stock a beautiful selection of products from brands that embody the green ethos, found on their website under ‘Accessories’ and ‘Naked’.

Their dedication to eco-friendly production and lifestyle runs deeper than the products sold. Green solutions punctuate the entire company, allowing it to operate with a fraction of the environmental impact of most fashion labels. Renewable energy powers their factory, offices and stores. And all packaging is made from recycled materials.
